Council adopts conclusions on language competences to enhance mobility

They put forward their views and ambitions in a document which was the fruit of an intensive collaboration between the European Commission and the Polish Presidency. A key statement in the document is that "a good command of foreign languages is a key competence essential to make one's way in the modern world and labour market.
